FAQ
Plain answers. No scare script.
These are the questions Nell hears on the phone. The answers are demo copy for a fictional Somerset crew.
How long does a roof last around here?
Architectural shingles on a Pulaski County ranch often go 20 to 30 years if the attic can breathe and the flashing was done right. Metal can go longer. Hail does not care about the warranty year. We will not name a year count on a roof we have not walked.
Is a metal roof noisy?
On a house, rain on standing seam over a deck and underlayment is a low drum, not the roar of bare barn tin. A barn is louder because it is usually open underneath. We will tell you which one you are getting before you spend the money.
How long does the work take?
A leak repair or a small hail patch can be a day. A full one-story ranch is often one to two fair-weather days once the materials are in the yard. The week after a county-wide storm runs longer because every crew is stacked. Demo timing, not a promise.
Are you licensed?
Kentucky does not issue a statewide roofing license. We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation, and we pull the local permit. This is a demo site, so there is no real policy number to show.
Will you work with my insurance?
We will document the roof and meet an adjuster on site if you ask. We will not file the claim as if we were you, and we will not offer to cover your deductible. See the storm page. Not legal advice.
Do the prices on this site apply to my house?
No. Every price is marked demo price for the template. Pitch, layers, rotten decking, and how far the dumpster has to sit all move a real number.
